Flowers by the Month
We picked some of our favorite weddings, all done with our blooms, to give a sense of what’s available month to month. For more ideas and inspiration, check out our Instagram feed at @butterbee_farm.
The long-awaited burst of blooms from our fields brings peonies, bachelors buttons, ranunculus, and more, and fresh new foliages like deutzia and Japanese maple.
Spring and summer flowers alike bloom in June, from larkspur, delphinium, spirea, and sweet-scented foliages like apple mint to sunflowers and lavender.
Midsummer brings rose-like blooms called lisianthus, wonderful new textures like asters, and deliciously scented geranium foliage, along with a bounty of summer textures.
Celosias, gomphrenas, zinnias, and our first dahlias may appear during this unique moment when the last summer flowers and the first fall flowers are both in bloom.
Dahlias, eucalyptus, and the best of fall flowers are in full bloom on the farm! This wedding was designed by Local Color Flowers with all of our blooms.
During the last days before frost, our dahlias give their final show, and textures like ornamental peppers and grasses add a bittersweet tone to our offerings.
