About Lianne Pflug: Initially inspired by her hobby of houseplant collecting, Lianne’s interest in botany and conservation has grown and is the subject of most of her illustration practice. Alongside creating 2D illustrations, she makes botanically inspired products that aim to educate and intrigue the public with all things that pop up from the forest floor. Lianne, while studying at MICA, aims to share her appreciation of plants and fungi with others through books, illustrations, and the products she creates. She works mostly in pen, watercolor, colored pencil, and digital media to create lush portraits of plants she adores.
